1. Prepared the google doc to make it easy for my teammates to fill up their answers. (eg. Content page, points)

2. Delegate what to do to each of the team members.

3. Wrote introduction.

5. Came up with the smartwatch google form to gather data for primary research. 

6. Wrote solutions for battery life.

7. Came up with possible benefits.

8. Wrote summary of ideals in collaboration with the rest of my teammates.

9. Wrote problem statement in collaboration with the rest of my teammates.

10. Wrote purpose statement in collaboration with the rest of my teammates.

11. Rearranged points in Tech report after consultation

    Thanks much, Kai Xiang, for the details on your contributions. You mention coming up with issues with AI. Which issues? And was your secondary research done using AI, or did you do a Google Scholar to search as well?

      Dear Professor Blackstone, we used chatGPT to get an idea of what issues smartwatch users may face. The issues we generated are that its expensive, short battery life, design is bad, size issue, fitness app not accurate, etc. We put these issues in a survey to ask people we know if these issues are indeed a problem. This is our primary research. For our secondary research, we came up with solutions and used google to find out if they are doable.

Interpretation of quote

“While all engineers should have good communication skills, global engineers face additional challenges, making effective communication an imperative.” Debra Kraft, Careers Content Writer, Demand Media (2016) My interpretation of this quote is that for efficient and effective work to be done, communication is key. Especially in a globalised world, where people from all walks of life with different language and culture can participate in a project, the ability to communicate well is all the more important.  One example of this is when working with someone from China who can only speak in Chinese as someone who can only speak and write English. People in their home county will be more used to using their country's own system and language.  Even with programmes like google translate to assist in conveying meaning, the result of the translation will never as good as being able to understand the other person directly.
